With less than a month remaining until the presidential elections, everyone is talking about jobs and unemployment rates. The news is full of reports of people who have been out of work for more than a year and still can’t secure jobs. And, some of those people with jobs may be looking for greener pastures elsewhere but aren’t sure how to qualify for the job they really want.

They say getting dressed for your workout is half the battle. Half the battle for me, more specifically, is making the decision to resist watching nine YouTube videos of my latest Hollywood obsession—Anna Kendrick from “Pitch Perfect” at the moment—put the bag of croutons down (I eat them like chips) and sort through my dirty pile of laundry for a pair of running shorts.
