I discovered ‘soft pants’ last month. This is an actual thing. They’re those pants for women—usually tapered at the ankle—that look (and feel) like classy pajamas acceptable for daytime wear. Sometimes they have patterns. Always they are soft.
These soft pants are slowly yet steadily changing my life. I’m concerned I may never return to hard pants. Goodbye, jeans. You were good to me.
