Education Coordinator

Summary of Position:
First tier customer service support position. Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to the administration of NAAEI’s certificate programs and online continuing education courses.  Works closely with all NAAEI staff to remain informed about NAAEI programs and activities. Provides designates and students with information about certificate programs, program requirements, enrollment, membership renewals, candidacy extensions, continuing education credits (CECs) and designation reinstatements. Researches issues and resolves routine and non-routine problems. Manages/updates database records pertaining to certificate programs and prepares reports for NAA affiliates and for publication in UNITS magazine.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Serves as first tier customer service for education related inquiries by phone and email and responds to inquiries within one business day. If complete resolution is not possible, customer will receive a status report within the required time frame.
  • First tier customer service for Designation Renewal process. First tier customer service for Student Enrollment process.
  • First tier customer service for Designation Extension process.
  • First tier customer service for Exam and Online Learning support.
  • Updates candidate and designate records in iMIS database.
  • Generates standard iMIS Reports.
  • Initiates printing of certificates.
  • Prepares tent cards and handouts for NAAEI Board and Committee meetings.
  • Assists with the emailing, printing and mailing of designation renewal invoices and updates copy on invoices and documents before each mailing.
  • Facilitates payments to NAAEI by processing credit cards, creating invoices for orders and following up on past due payments.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:


  • Ability to provide exemplary customer service skills, and verbal and written communicate skills, (pleasant phone voice and correct English grammar).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word; Excel and Outlook


  • iMIS database experience and/or certification database experience.
