Electronic Lease Used By Millions Made More Affordable for Owner-Management Firms

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 23, 2012 -- The nation’s most popular apartment lease is now even more affordable for apartment owners and management companies of all sizes and in most any market.

NAA is waiving the full $175 per community fee for the initial site license for those owners or management companies that enroll 100 communities or more at a time with the NAA National Lease Program before Dec. 31, 2012. The offer is available to NAA members only.

The NAA Lease is used by 14,000 communities spanning more than 3.2 million units, including some of the biggest real estate firms in the country. Valuable benefits to the Program include cost efficiency, the support it’s given from renowned attorneys and a full customer-service support staff. The NAA Lease can be used by residents who apply online and includes a free electronic signature function.

Discounted rates are also available for those who enroll 75 to 99 communities at a time ($50 per license), 50 to 74 communities at a time ($100 per license) and 25 to 49 communities at a time ($150 per license).

These discounts are part of NAA’s strategic growth initiative that was approved by NAA’s Board of Directors earlier this month. The discount will help NAA and its affiliates grow membership, which will create a stronger national association for apartment professionals.

The discount also helps companies that are new to the lease program to enjoy the benefits of having one lease, which is recognizable nationwide in state and local court systems, that is designed and updated specifically to local rules and regulations. The lease also includes addenda that focus on critical topics such as bed bugs and pet deposits.

Produced electronically, the NAA Lease Program helps apartment owners and management companies save time and money in administration fees. It also helps reduce time and money spent on legal review, as the NAA Lease Program is continually updated to include any legal changes or updates. The NAA Lease Program technology is fully backed by its provider Blue Moon Software, based in Austin, Texas.
