ARLINGTON, Va., June 30, 2011 -- The most widely used residential lease in the country, utilized by more than 14,000 apartment communities has expanded its operations to 42 states. As of July 1, an apartment lease for the state of Idaho and New York City will be available through the National Lease Program. The recently added leases are expected to be utilized by apartment firms such as UDR and Laramar Group.
The New York City lease was a significant addition due to its history of being a highly regulated jurisdiction. Corey Weiss, Esq., of Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP and Michael Semko Esq., of National Apartment Association meticulously reviewed the lease to ensure the utmost jurisprudence for rent controlled jurisdictions in the state, including New York City.
Idaho becomes the 42nd state to be serviced by the National Lease Program. A state specific lease for Montana is being reviewed by National Lease Program and is expected to be released in the near future.
The National Lease Program is a powerful and easy-to-use leasing technology system that allows an apartment community to save time and money by speeding up the preparation and printing of legal documents. The lease and accompanying addenda cover every aspect of the rental process and are reviewed by expert attorneys to ensure compliance with state laws and local regulations.
The National Lease Program is the most widely used residential lease in the country. Customer companies include some of the largest multifamily Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and privately held real estate firms in the country. An NAA National Lease Program lease page is generated every second.
