 NAA, UNITS magazine win National Media Awards

ARLINGTON, Va., April 20, 2011 -- NAA and UNITS magazine combined to earn two national awards from Association Media and Publishing (AMP), a national association representing association publications.

Lauren Boston’s cover story “Resident Refugees: Apartment Living Makes a World of Difference” from August 2010 earned “Silver” In the “Feature Article – 50,001 to 100,000 circulation” category earned a “Silver” award.

Boston’s cumulative weekly blog entries on NAA’s industry-wide blog APTly Spoken took “Bronze” in the “Media Innovation: Blog” category. Each week, Boston, the staff writer for NAA’s UNITS magazine, offers an amusing take on subject matter included in the recent or a future issue of UNITS based on her real-life experiences as a renter or from her childhood.

NAA will be honored on June 1 at AMP’s national meeting in Washington, D.C.
