Arlington, VA, July 21, 2009 - June was a record-setting month for apartment industry use of the National Apartment Association (NAA) National Lease Program, which sold 2,390,500 lease clicks (pages) for the month. Every 2 seconds, a new form is generated by Blue Moon, Inc., the company which provides the technology platform behind the National Lease Program.
“Apartment owners find great value in the National Lease Program, which continues to set records for monthly sales,” says NAA President Doug Culkin, CAE. “Companies realize that the NAA Lease Program brings efficiencies to their onsite operations and helps save them time and money.”
The previous record was set April 2009 at 1,976,000 lease clicks. More than 600 communities have joined the National Lease Program in 2009, with membership also continuing to climb each month.
The National Lease Program is a powerful and easy-to-use leasing technology system that allows an apartment community to save time and money by speeding up the preparation and printing of legal documents. The lease and accompanying addenda cover every aspect of the rental process and are reviewed by expert attorneys to ensure compliance with state laws and local regulations.
The National Lease Program was first offered in Texas more than 40 years ago and, because of its overwhelming success, has been expanded to 41 states. With more than 12,000 apartment communities enrolled nationwide. The National Lease Program is the most widely used residential lease in the country. In recent years, the National Lease Program has experienced its most robust growth. Annually, the program has grown at an average rate of more than 30 percent, truly establishing itself as an industry standard for the leasing process.
