Jan. 3, 2007—The National Apartment Association (NAA) installed its 2007 Board of Directors and other leadership officers at its annual Assembly of Delegates held in Miami, Fla.
NAA Installs Executive Committee. Dave Watkins, CAPS, Senior Vice President, Greystar Management Services, Tampa, Fla., was installed as 2007 NAA Chairman of the Board. He served as 2006 NAA Chairman-Elect. Watkins has had management responsibilities for more than 40,000 apartment homes and oversees 13 apartment communities in the Tampa area.
Michael Tompkins, CPM, CCIM, President, Julian LeCraw & Company, Atlanta, Ga., was installed as 2007 NAA Chairman-Elect. He served as 2006 NAA Treasurer.
Ron Shelton, CAPS, Amalgamated Management Corporation, Dallas, Texas, was installed as 2007 NAA Vice Chairman. He served as 2006 NAA Secretary.
Marc Rosenwasser, Vice President and CFO, Meadow Wood Property Co., Tampa, Fla., was installed as 2007 NAA Treasurer. He served as a 2006 NAA Region 9 Vice President.
Mike Gorman, CAPS, CPM, CCIM, Edward Rose Companies, Indianapolis, Ind., was installed as 2007 Secretary. He served as a 2006 NAA Region 3 Vice President.
Joe Sharp, CAPS, Vice President of Asset Management for Actus Lend Lease, Fort Hood, Texas, was installed as Immediate Past Chairman of the Board. He served as 2006 NAA Chairman of the Board.
NAAEI Installs Officers. The NAA Education Institute installed Bill Wollinger, WinnResidential, Boston, Mass., as its 2007 President; Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, Buckingham Management, Indianapolis, Ind., as its 2007 Vice President; and Michael Tompkins, CPM, CCIM, Julian LeCraw & Company, Atlanta, Ga., as its 2007 Secretary/Treasurer.
National Supplier’s Council Installs Officers. Terry Slattery, Vice President and General Manager, For Rent Media Solutions, Norfolk, Va., was installed as 2007 NAA National Supplier’s Council (NSC) Chair; Judy Bellack, Southeast Region Director, Apartment Finder, Boca Raton, Fla., was installed as 2007 NSC Vice Chair; and Andrea Massey, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Real Page, Carrollton, Texas, was installed as 2007 NSC Secretary.
Association Executive Council Installs Officers. John Lafferty, Executive Director, Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, Boston, Mass., was installed as 2007 NAA Association Executives Council (AEC) President. Jay Scott, Executive Director, Columbus Apartment Association, Columbus, Ohio, was installed as 2007 AEC Vice President; and Paul Smith, Association Executive, Utah Apartment Association, was installed as 2007 AEC Secretary.
