WRH Realty Services, “Gift of Giving” toy drive has wrapped up another year. As part of the third annual toy drive, every WRH apartment community throughout southeast was a designated toy drop off location up until the second week of December. Toys that were collected at each community leasing office ranged from puzzles, coloring books, dolls, action figures, books, sports equipment, bicycles, tricycles and new clothes. All of the toys collected were donated to local charities. Over the past three years, due to the support of residents, local businesses, community members and WRH team members, WRH has donated over 1,500 toys to local charities. When asked why WRH conducts these annual drives Cynthia Haines, Chief Operating Officer, said, “It is important not to lose focus of the purpose. A community is made up of individuals that unite, lead and make a difference by setting the example for future for generations to follow. We are glad to be apart of something that is making a difference within our community.”
The toys have been donated to the following area charities: Toys for Tots - Dallas TX, The Children’s Assessment Center Foundation – Houston, TX, Atlanta Children’s Shelter – Atlanta, GA, Youth Villages – Memphis, TN, Hannah’s House - Columbia, SC, Toys for Tots – Orlando, FL, Children’s Home Society – Jacksonville, FL, Family Service Centers – St. Petersburg, FL.
