
Orlando, Fla., June 30, 2008 - The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that Kelly LaGuardia, CAM, of Thomasville, N.C., has been awarded Certified Apartment Manager of the Year. Ms. LaGuardia was recognized at the 2008 PARAGON Awards Ceremony Saturday evening at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
"Kelly and her colleagues represent the best and the brightest in the apartment industry," said Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, NAAEI President. "Kelly has shown a willingness and dedication to her education, philanthropy and customer service, setting a standard for her colleagues and her residents. We are delighted to award Kelly with the 2008 NAA PARAGON Award for Certified Apartment Manager of the Year, the highest honor that our industry grants annually."
Ms. LaGuardia serves on the Triad Apartment Association’s Education and Government Affairs committees, the Legislative Taskforce, and as Facilitator at the National Brainstorming Conference in her home state. Ms. LaGuardia has achieved the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) through NAAEI, North Carolina Brokers License, CPO license and Notary Public. She trains new hires for Apartment Dynamics and is the Property Takeover Specialist for all their acquisitions.
