Tricia Foreman, RAM, CPM, NALP, CAM, CAMT, Named 2009 Certified Apartment Manager of the Year
LAS VEGAS /June 29, 2009/ The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that Tricia L. Foreman, RAM, CPM, NALP, CAM, CAMT, of Norfolk, Va., has been awarded Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) of the Year. Ms. Foreman was recognized at the 2009 PARAGON Awards Ceremony Saturday evening at the Mandalay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
"Tricia and her colleagues represent the best and the brightest in the apartment industry," said Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, NAAEI President. "Tricia is extremely active in her local apartment association activities and her dedication to her own education and to others’ is exemplary. We are delighted to award Tricia with the 2009 NAA PARAGON Award for Professional Designate of the Year, the highest honor that our industry grants annually."
Ms. Foreman began her career in 1999 as a leasing consultant. Currently, she is a property manager with Gumenick Properties at a 288-unit community in Norfolk. Prior to her current position, she worked as a senior property manager for two communities in the Norfolk area and has lead a variety of communities in the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas, including a lease up at a luxury community in western Henrico County.
Ms. Foreman is an active member of the Central Virginia Apartment Association (CVAA), where she has served on several committees, in addition to serving as a member of CVAA’s Board of Directors. In 2008, she was honored by CVAA as the Community Manager of the Year. Ms. Foreman is a member of the NAAEI Faculty and is a volunteer instructor for the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) courses.
As part of her continued commitment to her career and education, Ms. Foreman holds several national multifamily industry designations. She holds NAAEI’s NALP, CAM and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) designations. She also holds the Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) and the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
