NAAEI Names Paz as New National Trainer

NAA Education Institute

Arlington, VA, February 27, 2009 - The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that it has named Pablo Paz, CAMT, as one of its new national trainers

The national trainer position was created as part of NAAEI’s effort to bring its nationally-recognized designation programs to areas of the country where training has not been available.

Paz will teach the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) course nationwide. Courses are scheduled in California and Ohio with more locations to be added throughout 2009.

"Pablo brings with him a wealth of subject matter expertise in the area of apartment and facilities maintenance," said Maureen Lambe, CAE and Executive Vice President for NAAEI. "We know that the combination of Pablo’s onsite maintenance and corporate training experience will provide CAMT students with the knowledge to improve their skills and to continue to grow professionally in the apartment industry."

Paz is a bilingual instructor with more than 20 years of onsite experience and four years of corporate training experience. Paz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in Houston, along with NAAEI’s CAMT designation. Paz is also a licensed maintenance electrician and air conditioning repair contractor, and he holds three EPA certifications, including one certification in 410a refrigerants.

Most recently, Paz was the regional facilities manager for Camden Property Trust in Houston, where he conducted property inspections and managed the architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design of new construction properties.

NAAEI will hire one additional national trainer in 2009 to teach the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) courses nationwide.
