Arlington, VA, April 28, 2009 - The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that it is a Gold Award recipient of the 2009 Hermes Creative Awards, communications and marketing awards given annually by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
NAAEI’s submission was in the area of Integrated Marketing Materials, which included the marketing suite of the ApartmentCareerHQ.org folder, the Careers in Apartment Management DVD, the three career track brochures that showcase apartment maintenance, leasing and management careers and ApartmentCareerHQ.org, the career Web site for high school and college-aged people who are seeking a career in apartment management.
“We are pleased to have been awarded the Gold Award for our apartment career marketing materials,” said Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM and President of NAAEI. “The quality of NAAEI’s apartment career collateral, which brings an effective message to the public about apartment careers, is evident in the receipt of this award.”
NAAEI’s award-winning marketing materials are primarily used to attract and promote apartment industry careers among high school, technical school and college students. The materials are distributed at local, regional and national career expositions as well as to several national workforce and career development organizations such as Jobs for America’s Graduates, Job Corps, DECA, SkillsUSA and the American Association of Community Colleges.
The Hermes Creative Awards are annual communications awards. In 2009, there were 3,700 submissions from associations, non-profits and for-profit businesses.
