June 30, 2006 — The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) in June surpassed its initial fund-raising goal of $5 million, raising $5.26 million through mid-July, and the pursuit of the second goal of $7.5 million is under way.

Deane Dolben, CAPS, Chairman of the NAAEI Capital Campaign and President of The Dolben Company, said, “Just two years ago, the Institute was merely a plan to combine all of NAA’s education entities to strategically focus on the industry’s education needs. “Just two years ago, the Institute was merely a plan to combine all of NAA’s education entities to strategically focus on the industry’s education needs. Now, the resources are in place to help carry out the Institute’s goals.”

Bill Wollinger, NAAEI President and President of WinnResidential, said, “NAA and the Education Institute sincerely thank these investors in the apartment industry who have given so generously of their resources.”
