Orlando, Fla., June 30, 2008 - The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) is pleased to announce that Thomas Feldman, NALP, of Brookline, Mass., has been awarded National Apartment Leasing Professional of the Year. Mr. Feldman was recognized at the 2008 PARAGON Awards Ceremony Saturday evening at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
"Thomas and his colleagues represent the best and the brightest in the apartment industry," said Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM, NAAEI President. "With just five years of experience in apartment leasing, Thomas has taken leasing to another level by introducing a new approach to leasing, while making a positive impact on his community and maintaining lasting connections with his residents. We are happy to bestow Thomas with the 2008 NAA PARAGON Award for National Apartment Leasing Professional of the Year, the highest honor that our industry grants annually."
Mr. Feldman joined The Dolben Company in August 2003 and immediately jumped into the leasing process. One of the first lessons he learned was that real estate was a business of people, not property. He realized that real estate was more about performance than pitch…more comfort then closing. Being a natural entertainer, he enjoyed the rush of clients coming to view his community and for him to perform what he calls his "rock n’ roll" tour for his clients.
Thomas received his National Apartment Leasing Professional designation from NAAEI and he continues to achieve near-perfect and perfect scores in his mystery shops at his property. In what he calls his "ultimate recognition" from his "extended family", Thomas has just been awarded The Dolben Company Employee of the Year 2007.
