An Independent Rental Owner (IRO) is defined by NAA as an individual or individuals that own or manage rental properties, and are actively involved, from an ownership perspective, in the management of their properties. Many within this segment are smaller owners that own and/or manage 500 units or less. Currently NAA has 22,000 members that represent over 600,000 units collectively. NAA has designed programs and services specific to their needs.
