Software Pricing and Policies
A community must be a member in good standing of a NAA affiliated apartment association (or a direct member of NAA if a local or state affiliate does not exist) to participate in the NAA Lease Program.
NAA Lease Program Software is $175 per property (or site) plus shipping. The invoice will be shipped with the software package.
License Fee, Updates, Revisions
From time to time, NAA makes changes to the lease forms to comply with changes in the law or as deemed necessary. If changes are made in the forms or software, you will automatically receive completely free of charge all form revisions and software updates for a period of one year from the date of purchase or renewal. After the first year, you must pay an annual license fee of $100 for the windows based version or $175 for the web based version to continue using the software and to continue receiving all forms and software revisions.
Blue Moon Software, the official distributor of the NAA Lease Program Software, will provide FREE telephone technical support for the software, as well as FREE updates and upgrades, for the first year and thereafter as long as you renew your annual license.
Clicks to Print Lease Forms
The NAA Lease Software contains a built-in counter that tracks printing of lease forms. Each software package includes access to an initial set of 300 free form clicks. Clicks are used each time you print a page of any form. The number of clicks used is equal to the number of pages you print. Some forms are automatically printed in duplicate.
For example, if you were to print a 6-page apartment lease and a 2-page inventory and condition form (lengths vary by state), the counter would be reduced by 14 clicks: 12 for two copies of the 6-page lease, and 2 for one copy of the 2-page inventory form.
Additional form clicks beyond the initial 300 may be purchased and downloaded to your system by using an access code supplied by Blue Moon. Form clicks have been priced according to the quantity that is ordered at one time. Discounts are available for purchasing in larger quantities. See table below for pricing.

Computer Requirements
A personal computer with both a CD-ROM and a 3.5 floppy drive, running Windows 95, 98, NT*, 2000* or XP* is required. Blue Moon recommends a Pentium or equivalent CPU. You will need at lease 64 megabytes of RAM on your computer, and 10 megabytes of free hard drive space. For better performance Blue Moon recommends 128 megabytes of RAM.
*Systems running Windows NT, 2000 or XP will need to give users some administrative privileges. Please call Blue Moon technical support at 512/322-0999 for details.
Printer Recommendations
The software will print on some ink jet printers and most laser printers. For fastest printing times and sharpest output, laser printers with 300 dpi and a rated print speed of 6 pages per minute or higher are best.
When selecting a printer, keep in mind that laser printers must have at least 2 megabytes of RAM. Ink jets must have a printable area of at least 8” x 13.5”. Some ink jet printers do not have a printable are of this size.
The NAA Lease Forms make extensive use of legal size forms. If you are considering purchasing a printer, you should carefully evaluate how easy it is to print on legal paper and switch between legal and letter sizes.
